Job description

Your Function

As the Sales Excellence Coordinator, you bridge business priorities and sales execution across Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce. Reporting to the Head of Sales Excellence, you connect Sales with Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Operations, Digital and the Van de Velde Academy to ensure coherent information flows, effective sales tools and compelling sales stories.

You play a key operational and project management role within the Sales Excellence roadmap, supporting training initiatives, CRM adoption, sales events and cross-functional projects to enable data-driven selling and a consistent premium brand experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • You translate the global Sales Excellence roadmap into practical tools, content and initiatives, and coordinate rollout and adoption across regions and channels

  • You support change around new sales processes, CRM tools and ways of working, including onboarding support for new sales colleagues

  • You support capability building in data-driven selling, account and territory planning, and field sales planning and execution with channel heads and sales managers

  • You coordinate sales training topics, formats and logistics together with the Van de Velde Academy and relevant stakeholders

  • You act as a central hub for sales information, gathering and structuring inputs from Design, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Digital, Sales BPO and Market Analysis

  • You translate input into clear sales stories and sharpen USPs for seasonal collections and new launches, aligned with brand positioning and Sales Excellence methodology

  • You support the development, maintenance and usage follow-up of sales tools and platforms, including CRM, sales order entry, sales enablement tools and dashboards, and keep key sales communications coherent and on time

  • You coordinate key sales moments throughout the year, including global and digital BIDs, managing timelines, deadlines and content readiness

  • You support cross-functional Sales Excellence projects such as CRM adoption, sales process optimisation, pitch deck development with Trade Marketing and tools supporting sales force effectiveness, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery

Your Profile

  • You have a higher degree in Business, Marketing or Communication (or equivalent) and 3–5 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing, Sales Excellence, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations or a similar role

  • You bring experience in a fashion, premium or luxury environment, or a strong affinity with premium brands and storytelling

  • You understand market-driven and consultative selling (segmentation, account planning, value-based selling) and can translate it into practical sales support

  • You thrive in a cross-functional, international setting and build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Digital, Operations and the Academy

  • You are highly organised, strong in project coordination and able to manage multiple initiatives in parallel with ownership and follow-through

  • You communicate with impact and can turn complex input, data and insights into clear, compelling sales narratives

  • You enjoy enabling others through training and driving adoption of sales tools in a practical, hands-on way

  • You influence without formal authority through clarity, collaboration and credibility

  • You are fluent in English. Dutch, French, German and Spanish are strong advantages, and any additional language skills are a plus.
